The Road to Edisto

This painting was inspired by the road driving into Edisto Island, SC heading towards Edisto Beach. I have always enjoyed traveling this road. It always feels like I am driving into a tunnel that leads to another world. At the end of the road is a sleepy little beach town where I can leave all of my troubles behind, for at least a week at a time.
